"TYPE A GOES TO NOD TOWN” is a 27-track expedition that journeys into the heart of an imagined land, where curious rhythms and abstract soundscapes merge to form the town’s folklore.

Chapter 2

By the end of the day, all the wares had been exchanged. For a while it felt as if the job was done. As the farmers went about cleaning the space, one of them noticed something strange by the crates that had been propped up for display. There, lying beneath one of them was a yellowed fabric. Was it left by mistake? Maybe it belonged to one of the market goers. One thing was for certain—it hadn’t been there when they started.

They picked up the fabric to shake off the dust that had gathered over it. At first, they couldn’t make sense of the long and arching lines along the sides, nor the print that repeated from top to bottom, down through the middle, shaped like droplets. Passing it between themselves, they each took turns trying to decipher these symbols. “Probably just a weird decoration,” said the farmer who discovered it. Deciding to burn it with the rest of trash, they moved toward the fire.

But then one of the farmers tripped and almost fell. Startled, the others turned around to see what the big deal was.

“哭爸, 啉酒啉傷濟, 身體會歹去喔～” said one.
“Gone already, is it?” asked another.

“No. Look!”

The farmer who had stumbled spread the fabric out in his hands for the others to see. Cast in the dim red light of the fire, the once yellow fabric suddenly looked very different. There they were, shimming on the surface. Words.

“This is no decoration... It’s a map!”
“What? Where of?”
“I’m not sure… let me get a closer look.”
“N, O, D… 啥潲?”

“NOD TOWN?”
